Parenting is a tough gig and we all need others to help us grow. We are so thankful Holly Beeck is able to present four ‘Parenting with Purpose” sessions in May. We are partnering with Riverton Baptist, our Mounties college and Youth care, offering these sessions to the church and wider community.

Communicating with your Teen (Part 1)
Friday 17 May, 6:45pm-8:45pm | $10 per family

Communicating with your Teen (Part 2)
Saturday 18 May, 2pm-4pm | $10 per family

Grand-Parenting with Purpose
Saturday 18 May, 9am-11am | $10 per family

Intentional Parenting across All Ages
Saturday 18 May, 7pm-9pm | $15 per family

Communicating with your Teen (Part 1)

Parents of teens will be encouraged to consider your family communication styles and discover useful tools to avoid and resolve conflicts, share ideas and develop positive communication through the teenage years.

Consider how to respond to deeper conversations with teens through meaningful engagement and understanding. Topics will include:

Navigating the transition into being a grand-parent and the changing dynamics of relationships with your adult children. Topics will include:

Intentional Parenting Across All Ages

Parents of growing children are invited to attend this engaging parenting seminar, including delicious dessert. Topics will include:

Parenting as a team

Rights of passage
Role models and mentors
Parenting emotions and behaviours
Self care

About our presenter Holly Beeck

Holly is passionate about the importance of parenting in raising healthy and well-adjusted children. She shares a wealth of experience and professional knowledge with practical applications. Holly’s studies have included a Bachelor of Education and a Masters of Health Counselling. Together with her husband Phil, she has three emerging adult sons and a daughter-in-law.
