Creative Ministries

Our Creative Ministries teams passionately serve the church through the arts.

Fusion (Sunday services band)

The Fusion band serves at our Sunday services, and is made up of musicians and vocalists aged 20+. The team rehearses on Tuesday nights during school term from 7.30pm to 9.30pm at Booragoon Campus when rostered. They serve in our Sunday services (usually fortnightly): the two morning services Booragoon; the Booragoon PM service; or the morning service at Thornlie Campus. Contact us to find out more, and to arrange an audition for Fusion.

Aerial (Youth band)

This is our older youth band for teenagers in years 10 to 12, serving at our Friday night youth nights, and on youth camps. Contact us to find out more, and to arrange an audition for Aerial.

Gumption (Training band)

This is our youngest band, for school years 6 to 10. The group is for those who are just starting out on their instrument, with little to no band experience. Gumption primarily plays at MPK. The focus instruments include guitar (electric or acoustic), electric bass, drums, piano/keyboard and vocals. We are open to welcoming other instruments, but unfortunately aren’t equipped to resource and train these players as well. They meet from 6.15pm to 7.45pm on Tuesday nights during school terms at our Booragoon Campus. Contact us to find out more about Gumption.

Choir

There is something powerful when God’s people use their voices to lift up His name. Come join us to encourage His church in singing. Rehearsals are called as needed for special events that involve the choir – Sunday services, Christmas, Easter and others. Contact us to find out more about the Choir.

Sound + Vision

Our Sound and Vision teams serve at various events throughout the life of the church. No previous experience is needed – we will arrange a training night for you, and ‘buddy’ you up with a current team member for training during our services. The Sound and Vision teams meets occasionally on a Tuesday night during school term from 7.30pm to 9.30pm at the Booragoon Campus. Your commitment can be as intense or as light as you want it to be – most team members are rostered on fortnightly. Contact us to find out more about the Sound team.

Event Management

An Event Manager oversees all of the various elements that make up an event, ensuring the best experience possible for all those involved. Currently, their tasks include (but are not limited to) going over the Run Sheet (order of service) with the team; ensuring the various speakers/guests/performers are ready to go onstage; providing them with support for any additional/last-minute requirements; and performing tasks to ensure that events goes smoothly. Contact us to find out more about serving as an Event Manager.
